What To Expect
Wild Feral Hog Season (Jan 16 – Oct 1) We do not book hog hunts during Oklahoma Whitetail Deer Season.
Our Oklahoma Wild Hog Hunts are 2-day, 2-night trips that include lodging, and the take of 2 wild hogs, as well as both Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass Fishing on our breathtaking stretches of Pennington Creek! This 2-day Hog Hunt is a semi-guided trip. Our guides will be your transportation both to and from the stand locations. Our guides will help you understand the terrain from which you will be hog hunting, and after you make a kill, they will be right there to help track and find your harvested game. All of the hunting will be stand-type Hog Hunting from one of our many comfortable 2-man tower blinds in front of baited holes and feeding areas. This Hog Hunt allows for the harvest of 2 hogs per hunter. Our guides will load your hogs after they are all located and then transport them down to camp so that your harvests can be cleaned and skinned. This is the only other charge on your hunt if you would like for our guides to take care of the cleaning and skinning of your animal. You are free to do this yourself at no charge, however. You can then relax once we hang the hog carcass in our walk-in cooler. Upon your departure, our guides will help you quarter your animal to be placed in your ice chest for the trip back home.
The price of your Hog Hunt also allows you do some Bass Fishing in our 4 miles of Pennington Creek, or you can also skip around on a few of our multiple stocked ponds. This is lot of fun in the afternoons, so make sure to not forget to bring your favorite fishing rod and a pair of waders.

Night Time Hog Hunting
We also offer, on your Wild Hog Hunt, for you to have the thrilling opportunity to harvest a Wild Hog in the night-time well after the sun sets. At each of our feeding locations, we have hog lights set up and ready to be illuminated once any movement is detected under our feeders. If the wild hogs in our area begin to go nocturnal, you will have a great opportunity to harvest one of these giants underneath the beautiful southern Oklahoma stars. In order to be respectful of our other Gray Ranch employees and ranch hands living on the ranch, we request that our guides pick you up prior to midnight so that we can keep ranch traffic down for these guys in front of their homes. The night-time hog hunting is an included addition to your hunt which you will fully enjoy while you are hunting with us at Pennington Creek Hunting Club!
Due to the high demand of our hog hunts, there is a minimum requirement of 4 hunters per booking.
Before your trip, please review the Oklahoma Hog Hunting Regulations. You will NOT need an Oklahoma Hunting License to hunt wild hogs on our Ranch. If you plan on doing any fishing during your Hog Hunt, you will need an Oklahoma Fishing License. You can purchase this online by clicking here.
After you achieve your harvest of a wild hog, for a fee of $50 we will clean, skin, and hang your animal's carcass in our walk-in cooler. Like noted above, you are more than welcome to use our cleaning facilities and do this yourself at no charge. Before you leave we will help you cut out the back straps and quarter your kill. All you will need to do is on your way home make sure to keep ice in your ice chest covering all of the delicious hog meat from your harvest! Summertime Special
Our Summertime Oklahoma Hog Hunting Special is $125 off of the regular price, per hunter, during June, July, and August. Our feeders still throw corn twice a day in the summer and the hogs flock to them daily while other food sources are dried up and short. Due to this, our success rate during the hot summer months is excellent! The Oklahoma summers may be hot, but the wild Hog Hunting is even hotter!
Payments
A 50% deposit is due within 10 days after booking. The balance is to be paid in full 30 days prior to your hunt. Should the balance not be paid in full 30 days prior to your hunt, your hunt may be cancelled. Please mail all checks for payment to Pennington Creek Hunting Club, P.O. Box 368, Ardmore, OK 73402. You may also pay directly from your bank through Electronic Funds Transfer with no additional charge. If a credit card is used for payment, a 4% surcharge will be added. All major credit cards are accepted.
Refunds
There will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations less than 30 days prior to hunt date. There will be NO REFUNDS for any individual in the party being absent.
Lodging
Lodging is included in our recently remodeled and expanded Hunting Lodge. Full kitchen/cooking facilities, as well as an outside grill, allows your group the flexibility of preparing meals to your liking. Spend time together telling the stories of your day’s events while relaxing in our Gathering Pavilion which is just a few steps from our Hunting Lodge.
